BNB Chain, formerly known as Binance Smart Chain (BSC), has announced the launch of two new initiatives aimed at empowering women in Web3. The two programs, WWW Founders and WWW Learners, will provide mentorship and support to women at all levels of engagement with Web3. Led by Kirthiga Reddy, CEO and CoFounder at Virtualness, WWW Founders will focus on mentoring future leaders of the space, while WWW Learners will target recent graduates and new entrants. The program is set to debut in March 2023, coinciding with Women’s History Month.
A Platform for Women in Web3
BNB Chain aims to create a supportive and empowering community for women in Web3 through these initiatives. Gwendolyn Regina, Investment Director at BNB Chain, said that the Web3WonderWomen Mentorship program is designed to provide a platform for female leaders to mentor the next generation of female talent. “Our goal is to create a supportive and empowering community for women in Web3, and we believe this program will play a significant role in achieving this,” she added.
